Quick answers about table cards, menu hosting, and updates.
Table cards require no Nexxum subscription when linked to your existing menu. Hosted menu plans include a monthly fee.
Do guests need an app to view the menu?
No. Guests use a compatible NFC-enabled smartphone to tap the table card, then open the notification to view your menu in their browser. NFC must be enabled where applicable, and an internet connection is required.
Do I need a monthly subscription?
No subscription is required when your table cards link to an online menu you already maintain. If Nexxum builds and hosts your menu page, the PDF Menu plan is $19/month and the Mobile Menu plan is $29/month, plus the listed setup fee. Table cards are purchased separately unless you choose a bundle.
Can I update my menu later?
Yes. If you use your existing online menu, you manage its updates. The PDF Menu plan includes one replacement PDF per month. The Mobile Menu plan includes one monthly update batch covering up to five item changes. Your cards keep working without reprogramming as long as the menu URL stays the same. Extra updates are quoted separately.
How many table cards do I need?
Start with one card per table or another convenient guest touchpoint. Cards cost $39 each or $149 for five, including programming and testing. Each five-card kit links to one shared restaurant menu. Shipping is separate.
Can guests leave a Google review from my menu?
Yes. Both hosted menu plans include a button linking to your Google review page, so any guest can choose to leave an honest review. Reviews are optional, with no incentives or filtering based on feedback.
